Broadway Stars to Perform at Bloomfield College for First Annual NiCori Winter Gala

NiCori Studios and Productions, located in Bloomfield and headed by theatrical powerhouses Corinna Sowers Adler and Nicholas Adler, will hold its first annual Winter Gala on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 7 p.m. at the Westminster Arts Center (WAC) at Bloomfield College.

“NiCori Studios and Productions is so excited to partner with the Westminster Arts Center at Bloomfield College,” expressed Sowers Adler, Bloomfield Resident and Founding Artistic Director. “It is a great place to create quality theater experiences for our community. We are looking forward with much anticipation to the exciting things ahead!”

NiCori Studios and Productions is a pre-professional theater training center based in Bloomfield dedicated to educating both amateur and seasoned performing artists. Offerings include voice lessons, musical theatre classes, acting workshops, songwriting workshops, dance classes, and technical theatre workshops.

The goal of the Gala is to help ensure that NiCori youth students are never turned away due to financial hardship. The Gala is presented by NiCori Studios and Productions and will feature top-notch Broadway and television performers.

Performers scheduled to appear include multi-award nominee, Corinna Sowers Adler, two-time Tony Award nominee, Beth Fowler, Broadway actor, DC Anderson, Broadway Actress, Kelli Rabke, MAC Award singer, Stearns Matthews, and Grammy Nominated singer/songwriter, Ilene Angel.

In the months following the Winter Gala, NiCori Studios and Productions will present “James and the Giant Peach,” a one-woman-show featuring actress Ami Brabson entitled “Phenomenal Woman” in honor of Black History Month, and more at the Westminster Arts Center.
