Successful Bloomfield College business alumnus, Craig B. Lindsay ’76, continues to support Bloomfield College.

Lindsay most recently funded the Center for Teaching and Learning with Technology (CTLT) in the library at the College. He has a history of funding library projects. His first pledge was towards the Library Fund to refurbish some of the furniture on the main level. His interest continued with the library and in funding the CTLT because of the Center’s focus on new technology and teaching.

Lindsay also previously gave a gift to the Bloomfield College (BC) Fund and was recognized with a naming of a suite in the Franklin Street Residence Hall, one of the newest buildings on campus.

“What [Lindsay] has achieved in his career, and what he has given back to this institution makes him a tremendous part of our College’s community,” said Jackie Bartley, Vice President for Institutional Advancement. “His impact is immeasurable, and we are so grateful for his continued dedication to Bloomfield College.”

Lindsay often takes the time out of his busy schedule to travel from his home in Hong Kong, China to visit Bloomfield College and meet with students. A few years ago, Lindsay treated students to an informational lecture as part of the Business Division's "Business Alumni Speaker Series.”

“I have had a successful business career, and my undergraduate degree from Bloomfield College helped me get where I am today,” said Lindsay. “I feel my support, both from a financial and time standpoint, is important to both the College and those undergraduates currently attending the school.”

Lindsay is currently Senior Partner at Hong Kong based China Alpha Fund Management (HK) Limited.  Lindsay earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Bloomfield College in 1976 before earning his MBA in Finance from Rutgers University Business School in 1979.  Lindsay has extensive experience in asset management and related financial fields and was a Vice President at Goldman, Sachs and Co for 16 years in New York, London, Tokyo, Frankfurt and Zurich.  Lindsay is the past Chairman of the Hong Kong Securities Institute and past – President of the Hong Kong American Club and currently the Honorary Treasurer of St. John’s Cathedral in Hong Kong  and continues to serve as a director at the Hong Kong Securities and Institute and also a director at a number of funds.
