WAC Underconstruction

Dear Arts Partner, Patrons

I am writing you today to make you aware of a scheduled capital construction project that will sadly close down the Westminster Arts Center (Robert V. Van Fossan Theatre), and its adjoining building, Westminster Hall for an estimated 12 months.  The Construction will begin on January 1, 2018 is scheduled to be completed early 2019.

The space will be unavailable for booking between that timeframe. The College appreciates its Arts Partners and apologizes for this unfortunate inconvenience as the historic slate roof of the structure undergoes critical repair all while maintaining its historic integrity.

The Westminster Arts Center will open again as soon as construction is completed, and we will be more ready than ever to serve the greater Bloomfield and North Jersey/ Essex County areas. As soon as we know when our doors can open again, our Arts Partners will be the first to know.

Keep an eye out for updates in late in 2018 on our this website and our Facebook page. We will begin booking for 2019 when the construction completion timeline becomes more finalized.

A highlight on this campus is the Arts Center. We look forward to coming together with our Arts Partners once again to provide inspiring shows, beautiful dance, and sonorous music to our community.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will do my best to answer any concerns you may have.

Yours in the Arts,

Nicholas Von Hagel
